Document Description
Notice of Exemption for the purchase and installation of an approximately 760-square-foot prefabricated bunker-type structure (bunker) to house 911 switching equipment, the replacement of the existing building electrical panels, and a new generator. Following installation of the new bunker, an upgraded dispatch console would be installed. Existing 911 and network switching equipment and back-up systems and servers would be moved into the new bunker from their current location in the basement to the Probation Building. Electrical and telecommunications services would be established to the new bunker and a 300 kilo-Watt emergency generator would be installed to provide back-up power in the event of an emergency.
