Reasons for Exemption

Therefore, the project falls under Class 1 exemption for existing facilities. In addition, no exceptions apply that would bar the use of this categorical exemption. All work would be carried out from the top of the bridge and no work would be conducted in the channel. There is no seasonable possibility for a significant effect on the environment as the result of the project. Therefore, the project is exempt.
