Document Description
Under the proposed planning grant, the HK well site will be assessed at lower levels, alternatives designed, test well, plans drawn and environmental documents for a potential new replacement water well. The CUSD Houghton-Kearney School is classified as a non-transient non-community public water system with a disadvantaged population of approximately 390 persons (students and School personnel) served through four (4) service connections. The Water System operates under Domes c Water Supply Permit No. 03-23-12P-008 issued by the Stale Waler Board on April 18, 2012. The Water System utilizes one groundwater well. Well No. 1, as its sole source of domestic water. The well has been cited by the Stale for non-compliance.
