Document Description
Caltrans proposes to resurface existing pavement, upgrade metal beam guard rails, improve drainage, and replace/upgrade curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. The purpose is to preserve and extend the service life of pavement structures, improve safety of motorists, and meet ADA standards. This project is needed because the existing roadway exhibits pavement distress and will lead to further deterioration that will require major rehabilitation if left uncorrected.
