Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-TRI-26272-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Eng Her. The project is limited to one encroachment on an ephemeral Unnamed Tributary to Bar Creek. The project is to decommission an existing stream crossing with an undersized culvert. Work will include excavation, culvert removal, fill removal, reconstruction of the bed and banks to match the natural channel dimensions and installation and maintenance of erosion control measures.

Reasons for Exemption
The project will permit decommissioning a existing stream crossing that will require minor alteration of land. The authorized work is intended to remediate a violation of Fish and Game Code (FGC) described in a notice of violation, dated September 15, 2021. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare, or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. By complying with measure in the Agreement, the project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
