Document Description
Repair a leaking water mainline at Hearst San Simeon State Historical Monument to ensure a continued water supply to Hearst Castle. Work will: -Reroute a 350-foot section of suspended mainline to a new location along the access road. -Clear vegetation, including trees less than 8 inches diameter, along the mainline for access. -Regrade approximately 2,000 feet of existing ranch road to improve access to the site. -Install a new 350-foot section of 6-inch diameter schedule 80 pipe. -Use flanges to connect the new 6-inch diameter pipe to the existing 5-inch steel pipe.
