The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) approves of the revisions to the Closure Plan for the hazardous waste facility permit and subsequent Closure of the Best Environmental LLC, formerly Butler Oil, Facility (Facility) at 3301 East Avenue I, Lancaster, CA 93535. The Facility must implement its closure plan, which has been revised to considering current regulatory standards. The proposed changes to the Closure Plan involve decommission of two tanks, soil sampling, soil vapor sampling may be required if volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are detected in the soil samples, and the preparation of a closure report.
