Document Description
In accordance with State law, the County is required to update its Housing Element every eight years, which includes an amendment to the Land Use Element and the Safety Element. An Environmental Justice Element is also required to be created when two or more existing General Plan elements are concurrently revised after January 2018. The Zoning Code requires revisions to the existing Housing Opportunities Overlay to maintain consistency with programs included Housing Element Update.
