This operation is an existing permitted Registration Chipping and Grinding Facility. The project reflects increases in peak loading from 450 tons per day to 500 tons per day, site capacity from 11,000 cubic yards to 30,000 cubic yards, annual loading from 50,000 tons to 150,000 tons, incoming traffic from 45 to 100 vehicles per day, outgoing traffic from 24 to 50 vehicles per day, and updates to the Compostable Materials/Chipping and Grinding Operation Plan. Registration permits cannot be modified or revised, a new registration permit is required for these changes which requires the operator to submit a new solid waste facility Registration Permit application package for LEA review and processing. The facility's location, operational area, type of material/waste handled, and hours of operation will remain the same.
