Road resurfacing on Wheeler Ridge Road between Laval Road and Santa Elena Drive. The work to be performed consists, in general, of paving hot mix asphalt, cold planning asphalt concrete, installing survey monument encasements, removing and installing delineators, installing inductive loop detectors, removing thermoplastic pavement markings, and painting traffic stripes and thermoplastic pavement markings.

Under the provisions of 15301 of the State CEQA Guidelines, work on existing facilities and rehabilitation of facilities is categorically exempt from the requirements of CEQA and the State CEQA Guidelines concerning the evaluation of projects, further environmental review, and the preparation and review of environmental documents. Therefore, no environmental documents were required for consideration of the action taken. This project is resurfacing an existing county-maintained road which is consistent with section 15301 of State CEQA Guidelines.
