The proposed project involves establishing a trail system through the remediation of an existing logging road along the unnamed tributary of Moat creek and is limited to three encroachments. One encroachment is for the installation of a footbridge spanning the unnamed stream. A second proposed encroachment is to upgrade a failing and undersized culvert. The third encroachment is to stabilize the bank along the proposed trail. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the existing culvert, replacement with new properly sized culvert, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
