Reasons for Exemption
The project is exempt from CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301, 15303, 15311, and 15314 because the project is consistent with exempt classes of projects and involves minor facility additions within existing campus grounds that do not increase student capacity by more than 25% or ten classrooms. Environmental review did not identify any significant effects that would occur from the project, and the exceptions listed in Section 15300.2 of the CEQA Guidelines were found not to apply to the project.
