The City of San Diego conducted an environmental review and determined that this project meets the criteria set forth in CEQA Section15304, which consists of minor public or private alterations In the condition of land, water, and or vegetation which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees. Since the project does not propose to remove healthy, mature, scenic trees the exemption was appropriate and the exceptions listed in CEQA Section 15300.2 would not apply.
