Document Description
The purpose of the Project is to reduce dead vegetation, brush and ladder fuels bordering Calistoga Road, which will enable residents to more safely evacuate, while first responders and emergency vehicles enter this heavily trafficked, narrow stretch of road. A 2.7 mile fuel break road will be enhanced by implementing fuel load reduction techniques on 30' to either side of the road. Work will be done by hand and/or equipment will stay on existing roads/driveways.
