Document Description
The purpose of this project is to replace sewer mainline and laterals within ECSD’s service area. The project will consist of replacing approximately 200 feet of 6-inch diameter polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or verified clay pipe (VCP) sewerline, and the lining of 1,320 feet of existing 6-inch or 8-inch diameter of cured in place pipe (CIPP) sewerline.

Reasons for Exemption
The project is the replacement of sewer mainlines and laterals within ECSD's service area. The replacement facilities will have the same purpose and capacity as the facilities being replaced. Therefore, the proposed Project is consistent with the requirements for a Class 2 (Replacement or Reconstruction) categorical exemption per section 15302 of the State CEQA Guidelines.
