Document Description
The project is limited to the removal of an existing cement staircase, installation of a cement landing pad, and installation of a 320-square-foot dock, gangway, and boat lift on the Tulloch Lateral. The existing staircase is approximately 30-square-feet. The cement will be broken apart using hand tools and carried offsite using a wheel barrel to be disposed of. The cement pad will be 4-feet long and 6-feet wide. The concrete will be mixed from bags at least 150-feet away from the shoreline and transported using wheel barrels. The dock construction will consist of four (4), 3-inch diameter galvanized steel pipes. Boat lift construction will be supported with 1.5-inch diameter galvanized steel pipes. The prefabricated dock and lift will be affixed to the supports and fastened in place. No vegetation will be disturbed during construction. The galvanized steel pipes will be driven into the lakebed using an air hammer mounted on a floating barge. The pipes will be driven to a minimum depth of 2-feet. A variety of hand tools, an air compressor, an air hammer, a floating barge, and pickup trucks will be used to complete the project. Access to the site will occur over water by barge, or through the driveway at 4163 Tomahawk Trail, Copperopolis, CA 95228.
