Document Description
DWR and Contractor will perform physical security upgrades DFD locations. Upgrades include a new guard shack structure, crash rated vehicle gates, fencing, crash rated and standard bollards, k-rail, card reader islands, storm drainage, video surveillance and pavement extension for truck turnaround. The existing guard shack remains and will be protected with standard bollards. The existing vehicle gates will be removed after the new gates are installed. Building upgrades will occur at secure facilities. Vegetation removal and road grading will occur. All work will be within DWR right of way.
