Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to remove and replace the existing warning sign at the beginning of the off-ramp with a flashing beacon and updated advisory speed limit signs. The project is located at the South Bound I-5 to East Bound SR-152 off-ramp connector, approximately 7 miles west of the City of Los Banos. All work will be conducted in Caltrans Right of Way. The purpose of this project is to provide essential warnings to the traveling public of the proper speed to safely enter the freeway. The project is needed to reduce the number of traffic collisions and truck overturn at this interchange.
