Document Description
The Department of Water Resources (DWR) San Joaquin Field Division (SJFD) plans to shut down and dewater Bluestone Pumping Plant (BLPP) forebay. This work is necessary to safely perform various maintenance activities (electrical, mechanical, corrosion protection, inspection, and cleaning). Water from BLPP will be discharged into an adjacent natural drainage. This work will begin in mid-October and last until the end of November. Dewatering activities will take approximately 7 days to complete. This project benefits the public and private sector, which depends on the California Aqueduct for water delivery.
