Reasons for Exemption
The project consists of minor alteration of an existing public facility involving negligible expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of this determination. The current edge-lines along Sly Park Road and Pony Express Trail is paint. This project will install recessed thermoplastic edge-lines with enhanced wet night visibility where there is currently painted traffic stripe. It is anticipated that installation of this countermeasure will help alert drivers and prevent roadway departures.
