Document Description
Installation of a middle mile fiber optic network and last mile wireless broadband networks to provide high speed internet access in rural underserved communities. The proposed Project consists of above ground and underground installation of fiber optic cables, wireless tower in Orick, signal connection in Orleans, and placement of last mile fiber cable and associated structures extending approximately 104 miles and distributed into 5 main segments and spur routes in rural Humboldt County. The State Lands Commission action is an approval of a 20-year General Lease – Right-of-Way Use through April 6, 2043.
