Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration
Agreement number EPIMS-RIV-26895-R6, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Southern California Edison as represented by Hazem Gabr.
The project is limited to the replacement of one wooden pole (Pole 4056446E) with a new composite sectional pole and vegetation maintenance (trimming). The work areas will be accessed by truck from the road shoulder of De Luz Road. The replacement pole will be set within an excavated hole located immediately south-southwest of the existing pole’s current location. The pole hole was excavated on November 23, 2020, by a non-Edison approved contractor. The replacement composite pole was assembled and placed on the road shoulder. A 30-inch PVC
caisson was installed and the hole covered. A minimal amount of additional digging within the excavated hole may be required to prepare the hole for pole installation. Approximately 405 linear feet of vegetation trimming will be required to facilitate the pole replacement and provide the appropriate clearance from the existing distribution lines.
