Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed a Major Amendment to Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. SON-25744-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Thomas Passalacqua. The project, as amended, is limited to: Installing a temporary railcar bridge at Map Point 1, replacing culverts at Map Points 2, 3, 4, and 5, installing temporary rocked fords at Map Point 6, installing a rocked ford at Map Point 8, installing new culverts at Map Point 7, 10, 11, and 11a, installing temporary culverts at Map Points 12 and 13, and water drafting at Map Points 3a and 7a. The major amendment allows heavy equipment and bridge materials to pass through the wetted stream channel to facilitate the temporary bridge construction and removal at Map Point 1.

Reasons for Exemption
The project will install new, replace, and remove existing temporary and permanent structures at the same site as the structure replaced. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, threatened, or rare species or their habitat pursuant to §15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects. The Project will not have significant environmental impacts if completed under the protective measures outlined in Streambed Alteration Agreement No. EPIMS-SON-25744-R3.
