Document Description
DWR and Contractor will install a new seismic station on Forest Service property. The site will have two small concrete pads with a 10 ft tall metal tower, electronics and sensor cabinets, and 20 ft of buried 2.5-in PVC conduit connecting the pads. The entire station footprint is approximately 5 ft by 30 ft. Prep will be done using hand tools and skid steer. Transportation will be by heavy duty flatbed pickups and trailers. Concrete will be mixed onsite using a skid steer. The adjacent access road will be used to stage equipment prior to installation. Work is permitted by USDA Forest Service Special Use Permit.
