Document Description
Project to acquire approximately 1.81 acres and construct a new community park on a portion of the undeveloped area of Fresno County Assessor Parcel Number 355-041-24 in central Parlier. The Project would plant new trees, create a natural bioswale to capture stormwater and construct a jogging and walking pathway around the perimeter of the park. The Project proposes to Install solar light fixtures to provide lighting along the walkway during the evenings once the Project has been completed. The City of Parlier's official park hours are from 7AM to 10PM. The Project would include ADA on-site parking. The Project includes restrooms with low-flow toilets and would be designed with environmental sustainability features (i.e. recycled materials. solar lights, environmentally friendly hardscape. etc.) The proposed Project would cover approximately 1.81 acres of land. The Project includes amendments to the City’s General Plan Land Use diagram and the zoning map to accommodate the proposed use.
