Reasons for Exemption
The Class 3 Categorical Exemption is for construction of limited numbers of new small
structures, including water main improvements of reasonable length. The construction of approximately 605 feet of 8-inch diameter water pipeline to connect to JCSD’s existing water system constitutes the new construction of a small facility and as such is consistent with the Class 3 Categorical Exemption.
