Document Description
The California Fish and Game Commission proposes to amend regulations related to sport fishing. The proposed project will amend bag & possession limits for black bass, striped bass, catfish & trout; extend low-flow closure period for areas north of San Francisco; and add low-flow closure target for San Lorenzo River and tributaries. The project will amend regulations for recreational take of crabs in marine waters for consistency with the upcoming 12-consecutive-month fishing license pursuant to Assembly Bill 817 (Wood, 2021). In addition, the project will make corrections to other existing regulations for clarity and to improve enforcement.
