Document Description
A Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to allow for a personal training facility expansion located in the Business Park (BP) Zoning District. The proposed use would offer group fitness classes in a 4,840 square foot tenant space. Classes would be offered from 5:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Monday through Friday, 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, and 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. on Sunday. The proposed layout for the facility would consist of a reception lobby, workout area, two changing rooms, and two restrooms. Other exterior improvements to the building are not proposed.

Pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301, the proposed project is exempt from CEQA under the Class 1 (Existing Facilities) categorical exemption since the proposed project involves no expansion of the building footprint beyond the existing area. Furthermore, all necessary public services and facilities are already available to the proposed project site, and approval of the proposed project would not result in significant adverse effects relating to traffic, noise, air quality, or water quality.
