Document Description
The project will provide electrical equipment upgrades to Buildings 54 and 56 to allow for installation of modular workstations in building 56 due to the insufficient capacity. Work will excavate approx. 6 inches deep, 3 foot wide by 3 foot wide to pour a new concrete pad to place a new (replacement) transformer outside of Building 56 with a larger capacity transformer, remove and replace existing switchboard in Building 54 with new one, remove and replace one 3-phase electrical panel with a larger 3-phase panelboard in building 56 and add one more 3-phase panelboard to support the modular workstations and provide spare capacity for future growth, upgrade the main feeder and electrical lines for building 56, route conduits on roof and excavate a trench approx. 130 feet long, 30 inches deep, and 20 inches wide to remove old and install new conduits and replace electrical lines from Building 54 to 56. Additional work will saw cut and replace the asphalt/concrete along the trench line and install a new pull box along new trench line to access the conduit(s).
