Document Description
The project consists of removal and replacement of the existing deteriorated floating concrete dock with a new concrete floating dock. The existing floating dock is approximately 976 square feet. The replacement dock will be 975 square feet (0.022 acre) and occupy the same U-shaped configuration of occupied surface water cover. The existing gangway and 5 guide piles will continue to be used in their current locations. The new and old dock pieces will be floated in and out via a motorized barge from a nearby launch ramp and work activities will be conducted using hand tools. Eelgrass habitat is present within the project footprint and best management practices will be implemented during the proposed activities to avoid and/or minimize disturbance of the beds.
