Document Description
Caltrans issued a District Director's Order to repair damage to a rock wall barrier on Lake 20 between post miles 24.0 and 28.0. A section of the historic rock wall barrier was hit by a vehicle at post mile 24.6. The impact destroyed approximately 30 feet of the barrier. District 1 Maintenance personnel have installed temporary reflective delineators. Repairs are beyond Maintenance's ability to address and assistance through the emergency contract has been requested. The purpose of the project is to repair the damaged section of barrier wall to address safety issues. The project is needed to prevent or lessen the loss or impairment of life, health, property, and essential services.
