Document Description
The purpose of the Project is to replace an existing water tank and install additional water lines on Battle Creek Meadows Ranch. As part of the Project, a 50,000-gallon redwood tank located within a wetland will be removed and replaced with a 60,000-gallon steel tank in the same location; the new steel tank will be available to Mineral County Water District for emergency and maintenance uses. A retaining wall will be installed on the north side of the tank, and the slope will be tapered above the wall. Additionally, ±225 linear feet of new 4-inch and 6-inch water lines will be installed to connect the new tank to the existing BCMR water main to provide for tank overflow and to add a cross-connection between the BCMR water main and Mineral County Water District systems. The new pipelines will be installed above ground on concrete anchor blocks.
