Document Description
The project is limited to restoring the capacity of an existing pond approximately 0.75-acres in size by removing accumulated sediments. Overtime the pond has silted in reducing the pond’s depth and acreage of open water. The project proposes to use heavy equipment to remove accumulated sediment and fresh emergent vegetation from within the pond. Fresh emergent vegetation to be removed includes willow (Salix sp.) saplings and cattails (Typha sp.). Removal of mature trees will not be required.
