The Applicant proposes to replace the failing Dolecetto Well No. 6 with the proposed Church Well No. 25 in a different location and relocate the existing ion exchange treatment vessels from the Dolecetto Well site to the Church Well site to prevent a potential drought-related water supply emergency. Dolcetto Well is at risk of imminent failure and the Applicant’s surface water supply is at risk of curtailment due to the ongoing drought emergency.
