Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-SBR-21200-R6, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Southern California Edison as represented by Hazem Gabr.
The project is limited to pole replacements, pole installations (between existing poles along the same line (interset poles)), anchor replacements and installations, guy wire replacements, and overhead work for a total of 157 work locations. Of the 157 work locations, 50 are subject to this Agreement, while the remaining 107 require no ground disturbance (overhead work and guy wire work) or are outside of the bed and bank of Bristol Lake. Ground disturbance for pole installations and replacements includes excavation by truck-mounted (where close enough to or within the graded road shoulder) or handheld auger. Standard excavation depths range between 6 and 10 feet (ft.) with a diameter of 2 to 3 ft. Ground disturbance for anchor installations and replacements include similar excavation for anchor plates, at standard excavation depths between 2 and 6 ft. with an above ground diameter of 1 in. Guy wire replacements will not require any ground disturbance. The area of soil disturbance (i.e., excavation, side casting and backfill) and temporary work area will be limited to a 10-foot radius around each pole and/or anchor location. Overhead work will not require any ground disturbance, and will not require a temporary work area, as poles will be accessed by a bucket truck which will remain on the graded road shoulder
