Document Description
The project will install a center line rumble strip, 6-inch wide centerline traffic stripe, and 6-inch wide fog line traffic strips. A 2-foot wide section in the center of the existing roadway will be cold-planed and replaced with Hot Mix Asphalt for the installation of the centerline rumble strip. The project will also upgrade two Intelligent Transportation System elements and several roadside signs. The project will require potholing for existing utilities and trenching to place the two Intelligent Transportation System elements at post miles 0.0 and 1.584.
