Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program is financing the Project referred to internally as Shady Glen Consolidation Construction Project. The Project includes the installation of a service connection of approximately 1,500 linear feet of 18-inch diameter distribution line. The distribution line will be installed in the California Department of Transportation right-of-way of Highway 174 and would connect the Shady Glen Mobile Home Park to the Colfax water distribution system. Additional project components include over 1,000 cubic yards of excavation and backfill, approximately 7,250 square feet of paving, a master water meter assembly, redundant double check detector assemblies for back flow prevention, five fire hydrants and associated appurtenances. The existing Shady Glen Community Water Treatment Plant has reached the end of its operational life and is planned to be decommissioned and demolished. Access and staging will occur on paved or previously disturbed areas associated with the existing and future facilities.
