This is a categorical exempt project that will protect, in perpetuity, 21 acres of land under a conservation easement. The 21 acres of land will become part of the already established Cajon Creek Conservation Area benefiting the viability of the following species: Santa Ana River woolly star, (Erastrum densifolium ssp. sanctorum) and San Bernardino kangaroo rat (Dipodomys merriami parvus), as well as, numerous other special status species and contains, or will contain, Riversidian alluvial fan sage scrub.
