Document Description
Caltrans is proposing a Minor B safety project of signage and striping modifications on State Route 91 (SR-91) at the Westbound (WB) Brookhurst Street Off Ramp and Eastbound (EB) Euclid Street Off Ramp in the City of Anaheim, Orange County. Work activities for WB Brookhurst Off ramp include installation of wrong way red-backed retroreflective pavement markers (Type R & RY) on ramp crosswalk, right edge line, left edge line and Type V arrows, installation of No Left & U-Turn R3-18 facing southbound traffic, arrow markings, No Pedestrian signs, One-way and various other signs, trimming of vegetation, removal and replacement of crosswalk markings to Ladder Crosswalk markings. Work at EB Euclid off ramp include refreshing of intersection pavement delineation and markings plus identical work indicated for the WB Brookhurst Off-Ramp. The purpose of the project is to enhance safety and reduce possibility of wrong way collision rates by enhancing pavement delineation and signing at these locations. The Total Disturbed Soil Area (DSA) is anticipated to be less than 1 acre. The project is State funded. This work will occur in State Right of way. No new right of way is required.
