Document Description
Caltrans is proposing a safety project on the connector of Southbound (SB) Interstate 5 (I-5)/SB State Route (SR) 57 to Westbound (WB) SR-22, in the city of Garden Grove, Orange County. Work activities include overhead (OH) structure replacements and sign panel replacements, replacement of W4-1 sign on luminaire of SB SR 57/SB I-5 to WB SR-22, installation of W1-8 signs, replacement of W4-2 sign, The purpose of the project is to enhance safety and reduce collision rates by replacing the sign panel and sign structure to update messages on the sign panels for road users. The Total Disturbed Soil Area (DSA) is anticipated to be less than 1 acre. The project is State funded. This work will occur in State Right of way. No new right of way is required.
