The purpose of the Project is to provide a new temporary point of discharge for the for Yuba City Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) effluent in the Feather River (near Shanghai Falls) by constructing a short pipeline to serve as a new discharge point as permitted by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board.
