The project is limited to the installation of a pier on Lake Tahoe. The pier will be approximately 108- feet long, a pier head of 30-feet in length, a 3-foot adjustable catwalk, and a boat lift supported by a 10 ¾-inch steel beam. The project will be constructed using eleven (11) single steel pilings spaced 15-feet on-center, resulting in approximately 6.5-square-feet of lakebed impacts. The project will be primarily constructed using a barge and an amphibious vehicle departing from a public marina or an existing boat ramp. A turbidity curtain will be installed if the lake level is high enough for water quality to potentially be impacted. All refuse material will be taken offsite via the barge and transported to the appropriate disposal facilities using a dump truck. No shoreline will be used for staging areas.
