Document Description
LADWP has been requested by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and Inyo County Water Department to install a staff gauge and other associated infrastructure to measure surface water elevation to improve the hydrogeologic understanding of Fish Slough and west Laws Wellfield. The staff gauge would be attached to a redwood board on a steel pipe in a wetted channel. Other associated infrastructure would include a perforated conduit which houses a pressure transducer and an instrument box with data logger and solar panel. All work would be conducted with hand tools and no water diversion would be necessary.
