Notice of Exemption: The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) proposes to renovate existing storage rooms to develop a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) suite in the existing Nancy Friend Pritzker Psychiatry Building at 675 18th Street in San Francisco. All work would occur within the interior of the existing building at the lower level, and would include: demolishing interior walls and installing new walls, finish materials and cabinets; installing mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and connecting to existing building systems; and installing infrastructure and shielding, structural connections and other support components for the MRI suite.

None of the exceptions to the categorical exemptions identified under CEQA Guidelines Section 15300.2 would apply to the proposed project.
