Section 15317 of Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations
Reasons for Exemption
The project is exempt pursuant to Section 15317 of Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations because the purpose of the project is to maintain the open space character of the area through the use of a conservation easement. Alternatively, the project is exempt pursuant to Section 15325 (f) of Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations because the conservation easement restricts the property's use to open space and park use.
