Reasons for Exemption
The pet crematorium will be operated from an existing industrial building within a the Light Industrial (Ll) district. The use
is permitted upon the approval of a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) and has thus been previously analyzed in the General
Plan Environmental Impact Report (EIR). In addition, an independent traffic analysis has been performed to determine if
the project will generate negative traffic impacts. The study determined that the project will not have any adverse impacts
to traffic. Operation of the bed and breakfast will represent a negligible expansion of the residential use.
