The Project proposes to modify the SR-17/SR-9 interchange on- and off-ramps, widen the SR-17 mainline and shoulder to eliminate the lane-drop and bottlenecks between Lark Avenue and the SR-17/SR-9 interchange, implement advance transportation technology (traffic signals control systems, traveler information system, and ramp), and implement "complete streets" features to improve bicyclist and pedestrian travel.
