Document Description
The purpose of the repair proposed by the Monterey County Water Resources Agency is to replace soil that has eroded from behind a retaining wall located in Moss Landing Harbor. The soil erosion is due to tidal action within the Harbor. The retaining wall supports and protects the subgrade of Moss Landing Road, and a 51” seawater intake pipe located immediately behind the retaining wall. The project will replace approximately 4 cubic yards of missing soil with coarse gravels and base rock. Replacing the eroded soil will protect the 51’ seawater intake pipe and the stability of Moss Landing Road.
