Document Description
This project will install fencing and signage at the eastern and western access points of a volunteer usage trail connecting Grassland trail to High Road in Malibu Creek State Park. The fencing and signage will deter trail users from accessing the unofficial route and direct them to the new Grassland trail reroute completed November 2021. The trail reroute provides an official, sustainable trail to replace the need for the volunteer route, which was heavily eroded, concentrating runoff, challenging the culvert at the terminus with High Road, and unnecessarily contributing sediment to Malibu Creek.
