Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2008-0290-R5 Amendment – A6, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Los Angeles County Flood Control District (LACFCD). LACFCD proposes to continue project activities related to the routine maintenance of debris basin facilities. These activities include debris removal, tree trimming, vegetation mowing, brush clearance, entrainment channel maintenance, sediment removal, and access road maintenance. The present Amendment is limited to a one-time sediment removal maintenance event at Santa Anita Debris Basin starting in February 2022 and ending August 15, 2022. This maintenance event is intended to comply with Division of Safety of Dam safety requirements.
